Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #118 - Clean & Simple Part 2

   Hi All!

Lawn Fawn has this challenge blog where usually every two weeks a new challenge is posted.  Challenge #118 is called Clean and Simple.

When the Peppermint Stripes Backdrop was released during the Lawn Fawn Winter release I loved it. I love that it doesn't just have to be used only during the holiday season but can be used all year round. Using the black & gold background I add a jar of stars and a little mouse that is celebrating to create a graduation card. I love the colour scheme for this card as it keeps it simple but elegant.

Supplies: White Cardstock, Black Cardstock, Gold Glitter Cardstock, Lawn Fawn Stamp (You Autumn Know, How You Bean?, How You Bean? Star Add-On, Bubbles of Joy), Lawn Fawn Dies (Peppermint Stripes Backdrop), Memento Black Ink, Various Copics, Lawn Fawn Glue Tube, Pop Dots, Wink of Stella (Clear Glitter)

Thanks Laurie

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #118 - Clean & Simple

  Hi All!

Lawn Fawn has this challenge blog where usually every two weeks a new challenge is posted.  Challenge #118 is called Clean and Simple.

Every holiday season I create holiday cards to be sent to family and friends of the family. Normally my Mom and I both create cards to send out. This year we decided to start our holiday card stash early.

I love snowflake stencils ... not sure why but I do. The Snowflake Trio stencil from Lawn Fawn is always a favourite of mine because there are three sizes to choose from and so many different backgrounds you can create with it. I used 3 distress inks to create an ombre effect with the largest snowflake in the stencil. I also stamped the Let It Snow sentiment in black over the centre of the snowflake.

Supplies: White Cardstock, Blue Cardstock, Lawn Fawn Stamp (Snow Bunnies for Simon Says Stamp),  Lawn Fawn Stencil (Snowflake Trio), Memento Black Ink, Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon), Tape Runner

Thanks Laurie
