MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge - Sketch 482

Hi All!

Every Wednesday on the My Favorite Things blog they post a new sketch challenge. This week's challenge was to use Sketch 482.

For this challenge I decided to do a thinking of you card so I stamped out the animals out of the SY Kissing Booth stamp set. Each critter had a little extra thing on them; the owl was holding a heart, the  bunny had a flower near her ear and the bear had a bowtie on. I coloured each of these red to connect all the critters together as a group. I stamped out a banner to add the first half of my sentiment to, the second half of my sentiment is on the inside of the card. I also diecut the green circle for behind the critters to help them stand out from the background.

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #73 - Birthday!

Hi All!

Lawn Fawn has this challenge blog where usually every two weeks a new challenge is posted.  Challenge #73 was extended to three weeks. The challenge this time was to celebrate birthdays. Lawn Fawn is celebrating their 10th birthday this year and the Lawn Fawnatics challenge blog is celebrating their 3rd year with this challenge.

For this challenge I decided to use one of the newly released stamp sets to help celebrate Lawn Fawn's birthday. The stamp set I used is Really High Five with the bear and bunny flying high in the air on balloons. Using a mixture of the cloud stencil and mini cloud stencil from My Favorite Things I created the sky background.

Supplies: White Cardstock, Kraft Cardstock, Lawn Fawn stamps (Really High Five), Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Peacock Feathers), Memento Black Ink, Wink of Stella (Clear Glitter), Various Copics, Lawn Fawn Glue Tube
