Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #92 - Outstanding Occasions Part 2

 Hi All!

Lawn Fawn has this challenge blog where usually every two weeks a new challenge is posted.  Challenge #92 is called Outstanding Occasions.

For this challenge I created a second gender neutral baby card. I love the little clothes in the Little Bundle stamp set but I don't get a chance to use it as often a would like. I wanted to stay with the same idea as my first baby card but chance up the layout of the card. I used the mustard seed distress ink and the Starry Sky stencil to create the background on the pale yellow cardstock.

Supplies: White Cardstock, Yellow Cardstock, Lawn Fawn Stamp (Little Bundle, Scripty Sayings), Lawn Fawn Paper (Perfectly Plaid - Spring), Lawn Fawn Stencil (Starry Sky), MFT Stencil (Mini Clouds), Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Mustard Seed, Speckled Egg), Memento Black Ink, Various Copics, Lawn Fawn Glue Tube, Pop Dots, Wink of Stella (Clear Glitter)

Thanks Laurie

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #92 - Outstanding Occasions

 Hi All!

Lawn Fawn has this challenge blog where usually every two weeks a new challenge is posted.  Challenge #92 is called Outstanding Occasions.

For this challenge I created a gender neutral baby card. I love the little clothes in the Little Bundle stamp set so I wanted to create a clothes line with a few items that could be used for a neutral baby card. I also love how the Lawn Fawn stamp sets can be used together as I used the "All You Need Is Love" sentiment from the new Special Delivery stamp set and the "(And More Laundry)" sentiment from the Little Bundle stamp set.

Supplies: White Cardstock, Yellow Cardstock, Lawn Fawn Stamp (Special Delivery, Little Bundle), Doodlebug Paper (Special Delivery), Memento Black Ink, Various Copics, Lawn Fawn Glue Tube, Pop Dots, Wink of Stella (Clear Glitter)

Thanks Laurie

MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge - Sketch 532

  Hi All!

Every Wednesday on the My Favorite Things blog they post a new sketch challenge. This week's challenge was to use Sketch 523.

For this challenge I wanted to use the pattern paper to create a window of sorts to base the whole design of the card around. Using the MFT Watercolour Wash pattern paper I created two rectangles and 2 squares to create the "window" then using the Special Delivery stamp sets I created a scene of a package being delivered. I wanted this card to have a few different options of what it could be sent for.

Supplies Used: White Smooth Cardstock, MFT Paper (Watercolour Wash - Blue, Party Patterns - Pink Stripe), Lawn Fawn Stamp (Special Delivery, Special Delivery Box Add-On, All The Clouds), Memento Black Ink, Various Copics, Lawn Fawn Glue Tube, Pop Dots, Stickles (Frosted Lace)

Thanks Laurie

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #91 - New Year

 Hi All!

Lawn Fawn has this challenge blog where usually every two weeks a new challenge is posted.  Challenge #91 is called New Year.

For this challenge I wanted to use the silver confetti and sparkler idea and create a card that showed the party after the New Years Ball dropped like I have seen on tv from Times Square for many years. To create this effect I stamped out a party hat, balloons and confetti and coloured them in black/gold/silver. I also had them arranged on the card to show them either being thrown in the air or drifting sky ward.

For the the sentiment I wanted to keep it simple with two speech bubbles. One with the sentiment of "Hello 2021" and the other of party hat. I also used the sketch for this week's challenge on the MFT Blog.

Supplies: White Cardstock, Black Cardstock, Lawn Fawn Stamp (A Birdie Told Me, Really High Five), Lawn Fawn Stencil (Starry Night), Lawn Fawn Die (Shutter Card), Memento Black Ink, Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Hickory Smoke), Stickles (Unicorn), Various Copics, Lawn Fawn Glue Tube, Pop Dots

Thanks Laurie
