MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge - Sketch 483

Hi All!

Every Wednesday on the My Favorite Things blog they post a new sketch challenge. This week's challenge was to use Sketch 483.

For this challenge I decided to do an anniversary card. I love using this bride & groom stamp from Dreamland Crafts for wedding or anniversary cards. I made the scattered hearts background first in two different pinks before building the rest of the card.

This type of sketch is one of my favourite ways to design a card as I love the idea of tag in the centre of the card. So my take on the tag in the sketch was to have a silver glitter that when put on the background takes on a little pink tint.  Then I put black trim around the tag to help it stand out from the stencilled background.

Supplies Used: White Smooth Cardstock, Black Cardstock, Silver Glitter Paper, MFT Stencil (Lots Of Heart), Dreamerland Crafts Stamp (Welcoming The New Couple), Your Next Stamp (Wedding Bliss), Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry), Doodlebug Halloween Assortment Glitter Sprinkles, Pop Dots, Memento Black Ink, Various Copic Markers

Thanks Laurie
