Hi All!
Every two (or sometimes three) weeks the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge Blog has a new challenge. This week's challenge is Awesome Autumn.
For the challenge I wanted to create a thank you card. Lawn Fawn has this really cute stamp set with a bushel of apples in a basket. Using Lawn Fawn paper and the cute apple set I created a "Thanks A Bushel" card.
Thanks A Bushel Card
Supplies: Kraft Cardstock, White Cardstock, Memento Black Ink, Copics, Lawn Fawn Stamps (Thanks A Bushel), Lawn Fawn Paper (Dark Brown Woodgrain, Orange Flannel Pattern), Wink of Stella (Clear Glitter)
Thanks Laurie

Stamptember - Lawn Fawn
Hi All!
Every September the Simon Says Stamp company has what they call Stamptember where the release limited time exclusive stamps with different stamp companies. Some of the companies that are part of Stamptember this year are Lawn Fawn, Tim Holtz, Mama Elephant, Newton's Nook, Honey Bee and more. Usually each day there is a new stamp (and sometimes a stamp & die combo) released.
On the Simon Says Stamp blog they post the new stamp set, some samples and a challenge using the stamp company of the day. I decided to play along with the Lawn Fawn challenge because I love Lawn Fawn and have a bunch of their stamps. So I created a set of three tags that can be added to a treat bag or even a card.
A Treat For You Tags (Set of 3 Tags) -
Supplies Used: Lawn Fawn Dies (Say What? Gift Tags, Say What? Pets - speech bubble); Lawn Fawn Stamps (Duh - Nuh; Seahorsin' Around, So Jelly, Say What? Pets); White Cardstock; Memento Black Ink; Copic Markers; Taylored Expressions Stencil (Go With The Flow); Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Blue); Pop Dots
Thanks Laurie

I struggled with this challenge because I love colour and love the rainbow effect. But when I went to create this card I decided to use blue to create a card that could put a smile on someone's face.

Supplies: White Cardstock, Blue Cardstock, MFT Die-namics (Double the Smiles), MFT Stamps (All Smiles), Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Peacock Feathers)

I love the Filled with Joy Die-namics set as you can use to create many different options for a snowman, ornament or sentiment. I used the set to create a hanging ornament with the Joy sentiment. I always create quite a few cards during the Holiday season. This set can help to create quite a few cards for the Holiday season.

Hi All!
The My Favorite Things Camp Create 2019 is back for the second session for this summer! Each day they bring in a new camp activity for everyone to play along with. With each new challenge you can earn a new camp badge while taking your card making up a notch. For day 5 the challenge was Awesome Ombre.
I love the Radiating Rays stencil. I thought it would be really cool to create a rainbow ombre effect with this stencil. I used silver foil for the inside of the star as I like to have a little bit of sparkle on all my cards.
Thanks Card
Supplies: White Cardstock, Black Cardstock, Silver Foil, Silver Cardstock, MFT Stencil (Radiating Rays), MFT Die-namics (Star Shaker Window & Frames, Big Thanks), Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers, Wilted Violet)

With each new challenge you can earn a new camp badge while taking your card making up a notch. For day 2 the challenge was Magnificent Masking.
I finally managed to get my hands on the Entwined Hearts die after months of it being on backorder and I love it! I thought if I cut this out of thicker cardstock I could use it as a mask or type of stencil to create this really cool background.
Smile: Let's Celebrate You Card
Supplies: White Cardstock, Yellow Heavy Cardstock (mask paper), MFT Die-namics (Hearts Entwined, Double The Smiles), MFT Stamps (You Wow Me), Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Picked Raspberry), Memento Black Ink, Dark Pink Cardstock, Pop Dots

MFT Camp Create August 2019 - Day 3 Challenge
Hi All!
The My Favorite Things Camp Create 2019 is back for the second session for this summer! Each day they bring in a new camp activity for everyone to play along with. With each new challenge you can earn a new camp badge while taking your card making up a notch. For day 3 the challenge was Background Bonanza.
Ever since this die was released I have loved it so I figured it would be the perfect image to use as my background for this card. I die cut the die out of white cardstock and using distress ink I created a rainbow of colour on the paper. I love the way the rainbow came out in the the speech bubble but it was missing just a little something so I added "This Is Your Year" in white ink on black cardstock to the bottom right corner to finish off the card.
Celebrate This Is Your Year Card
Supplies: White Cardstock, Black Cardstock, MFT Die-namics (Celebrate Speech Bubble), MFT Stamp (You Wow Me), Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Candied Apple, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers and Wilted Violet), Lawn Fawn Ink (Yeti), Pop Dots
Thanks Laurie

My Favorite Things Camp Create 2019... Day 2 Challenge
Hi All!
The My Favorite Things Camp Create 2019 is back for a new session! Each day they bring in a new camp activity for everyone to play along with. With each new challenge you can earn a new camp badge while taking your card making up a notch. For day 2 the challenge was Remarkable Resist.
I decided to use a stencil to create the clear embossed background. After using the clear embossing powder I used the Distress Ink to finish creating the background. I also wanted to continue on with the birthday party theme I have going with all the other cards so I used the Celebrate die. I cut out the Celebrate die 4 times to layer them on top of themselves to create more dimension.
Celebrate Time to Party! Card
Supplies: White Cardstock, Black Cardstock, MFT Snow Flurry stencil, Versamark Ink, Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers), Clear Embossing Powder, MFT Celebrate die, MFT BB Bitty Bears stamp, Memento Black Ink
Thanks Laurie

My Favorite Things Camp Create 2019... Day 5 Challenge
Hi All!
The My Favorite Things Camp Create 2019 is back for a new session! Each day they bring in a new camp activity for everyone to play along with. With each new challenge you can earn a new camp badge while taking your card making up a notch. For day 5 the challenge was Glitzy Glitter.
I am not normally one for glitter because it gets everywhere. My Mom on the other hand loves working with glitter in some of her projects so I borrowed some of her glitterness as inspiration to create this card. As I seem to have created birthday cards for all the other days of Camp Create I continued on with that theme to create a fun birthday wish card.
WISH Card
Supplies: White Cardstock, Black Cardstock, Matte Gold Cardstock, Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, Mowed Lawn, Mermaid Lagoon), MFT Wish die, MFT Card-Sized Star Confetti stencil, Nuvo Glitter Accents (Aztec Gold), Palette Knife
Thanks Laurie

My Favorite Things Camp Create 2019... Day 4 Challenge
Hi All!
The My Favorite Things Camp Create 2019 is back for a new session! Each day they bring in a new camp activity for everyone to play along with. With each new challenge you can earn a new camp badge while taking your card making up a notch. For day 4 the challenge was Sensational Sliders.
I thought a hippo flying up in the air holding 3 balloons would be cute with a slider die. My Favorite Things has these little pieces for their sliders called "Slider Elements" but a penny works as well. As I used a penny for my slider element I used some of large pop dots to create a stopper at the top so that the top of the balloons we contained inside the card.
Hippo Bird-Day! Slider Card
Supplies: White Cardstock, Memento Black Ink, Lawn Fawn Slide On Over die, MFT Happy Hippos stamp, Copic Markers, MFT Stencils (Mini Cloud Edge, Cloud Edge), Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Mermaid Lagoon), Wink of Stella Brush (Clear Glitter), Mini Pop Dots, Large Pop Dots, Canadian Penny, Your Next Stamp (Cosmic Crush, Wedding Glitter)
Thanks Laurie

My Favorite Things Camp Create 2019... Day 3 Challenge
Hi All!
The My Favorite Things Camp Create 2019 is back for a new session! Each day they bring in a new camp activity for everyone to play along with. With each new challenge you can earn a new camp badge while taking your card making up a notch. For day 3 the challenge was Spectacular Shakers.
I really like the shaker pouches that My Favorite Things has as it makes it easier to make a shaker card. I absolutely love the Radiating Rays stencil so my thought for this card was to center the stencil on the background and using a rainbow set of Distress Ink create a very colourful background. I wanted the shaker to be front and center so I cut out the Happy Birthday Circle Frame die out of black and put the shaker over the center part of the Radiating Rays stencil.
Happy Birthday Shaker Card
Supplies: White Cardstock, Black Cardstock, MFT Circle Shaker Pouches, MFT Happy Birthday Circle Frame Die, Neat & Tangled Sequins (Clear), Mini Star Sequins, MFT Radiating Rays Stencil, Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Picked Raspberry, Candied Apple, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Mermaid Lagoon), Mini Ink Applicators, Your Next Stamp Gumdrops (Clear Sparkle)
Thanks Laurie

My Favorite Things Camp Create 2019... Day 1 Challenge
Hi All!
The My Favorite Things Camp Create 2019 is back for a new session! Each day they bring in a new camp activity for everyone to play along with. With each new challenge you can earn a new camp badge while taking your card making up a notch. For day 1 the challenge was Wonderful Watercolour.
I decided to see how the Distress Ink and the Distress Oxide Ink would look to create watercolour backgrounds. So I created a Distress Ink rainbow background with pink, red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple. Using the background I created a cute birthday card.
Card 1 - Smile it's your birthday!
Supplies: Watercolour Paper, Black Cardstock, White Cardstock, Memento Black Ink, Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Picked Raspberry, Candied Apple, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Mermaid Lagoon, Wilted Violet, Hickory Smoke), Water, Paintbrush, MFT Double The Smiles die, MFT All Smiles stamp, Your Next Stamp Gumdrops (Clear Sparkle)
I also created a blue background with the Distress Oxide Ink before using Distress Ink and a stencil to create waves. Using the background I created a pirate card that could be used for many different types of cards.
Card 2 - Ahoy, Mate!
Supplies: Watercolour Paper, White Cardstock, Kraft Cardstock, Memento Black Ink Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink (Broken China), Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Mermaid Lagoon, Tumbled Glass, Vintage Photo), Water, Paintbrush, MFT Party Like A Pirate stamp, MFT Make Waves stencil, Copic Markers, Wink of Stella Brush Glitter Clear, Your Next Stamp Gumdrops (Cosmic Crush, Clear Sparkle)
Thanks Laurie
